Also, as we are coming out of Winter and the days are getting longer and brighter, people are generally in better moods. There’s lots of wonderful foods which are at their peak right now, such as lamb, pork, salmon, crab, potatoes, purple sprouting broccoli, spinach, spring onion and many more. Style
There are many different styles of Wedding dress, as every woman knows! But at this time of year you have room to experiment with many fun and different options. Knee length dresses are a popular choice in the Spring time. This cute and playful look is growing more and more popular amongst Brides. The Groom can also make the most of the weather, light weight suits are a great choice as feeling too hot can really make the day difficult, you don’t want to be uncomfortable. For the Bridesmaids, pale colours are a great option, these soft colours create a wonderful soft look for the Easter, light weight chiffon is a brilliant choice of material.

Our busy start to 2015 has continued, and we are well under way with our plans for the year. We just can’t believe that January is nearly over. We’re almost into February 2015, and wow January has been a busy month! With meetings with engaged couples & Wedding Fayres up and down the country, it’s been non stop for the team here at Vanilla In Allseasons. We’ve even managed to battle through with the down pour of snow which seems to have brought the North West to a complete stand still!

We’d also like to say how thrilled we are to be nominated once more for a County Brides Northwest Wedding Award in their 2015 ceremony! Our involvement with County Brides has been a wonderful experience, we’ve felt honoured to win the event for two consecutive years. Giving many thanks to all of those who have voted for us, we really appreciate the time which you take to cast your vote. We were highly commended in The Wedding Industry Awards last year, but who knows what could happen in 2015? With so many great events taking place across the year we can’t wait to enjoy 2015!

A Busy Start to 2015!

2015 is shaping us to be a busy year for us here at Vanilla In Allseasons! We’re so excited to hear about the many happy engagements which happened over the Christmas & new year period. We’d like to send our congratulations to all of the happy couples out there! With Valentine’s Day only around the corner, we expect many more engagements in the coming weeks. If you are busy planning your Wedding then we know there’s is a lot to be considered, organised & planned. We’re here to be as helpful as possible to newly engaged couples. It’s also a brilliant experience to sit down and meet with couples, get to know them and find out what food they want to create for their guests. Forging Wedding menus is a wonderful experience as you are creating the atmosphere for the day. The difference between choosing a sit down meal and a buffet means altering the feel of the entire day. We take pride in providing the freshest possible ingredients for all of our dishes. We spend time sourcing the very best local suppliers and aim to create menus that incorporate the finest seasonal ingredients.

One of these suppliers is J.J.J Heathcotes, purveyors of the best quality meat, poultry and game. They take immense pride in sourcing only the very best local produce from their own and neighbouring Cheshire and Derbyshire farms. Founded almost one hundred years ago by Jonathan James Jackson Heathcote, they have appeared in the Guardian’s good food guide, the UKTV channel guide and Rick Stein’s Food Heroes.

With three separate premises, an extensive butchering knowledge and friendly staff, they are truly one of the finest butchers we’ve ever come across. We all know how important it is to shop locally these days and there’s no better way to source your meat than from the experts at J J J Heathcote. Our 5th Year at The Manchester Rugby Club Ball!

It was great to be part of the Manchester Rugby Club Ball for the 5th year running! It is a truly fabulous event which has been popular within the area for many years now. The ball runs as their annual event, and it’s looked forward to throughout the year – it’s always a great night! The ball includes a fabulous champagne reception on your arrival. We also prepare and serve a wonderful 3 course meal. The dinner is a fantastic part of the evening, and it’s always highly anticipated due to the quality food & service which we provide!

Later in the evening a band and a DJ perform. All of this is £50 for the whole evening, which is great value! It’s a brilliant event for the Manchester community which attracts many people from the surrounding areas each year.

It’s wonderful to be invited back to events year after year due to our high class service. We heard from Suzanne who organises the events and she was incredibly lovely about our involvement,

“Just wanted to say thank you for once again a super meal on Saturday. I received numerous compliments yesterday and everyone was super impressed with not only the food but the professionalism and efficiency of all the staff. It has been a stressful time for me organising these events on my own and I know I did not need to worry at all about the catering side of thinks as I could totally rely on you guys. This was a huge weight off my shoulders.”

The North West Regional Event for The Wedding Industry Awards was held at the fabulous Sandhole Oak Barn in Congleton, Cheshire. The venue was decorated beautifully, as seen below.

Just like many companies based in and around in the Wedding Industry, we have been looking forward to The Wedding Industry Awards for some time now. The event came around and the atmosphere was fantastic, everybody involved was just ecstatic to be there! It’s also a great way for businesses who work in a similar area to one another to network and get to know each other better – which is always nice!

We were so pleased to be nominated for the award of, Best Wedding Caterer in which we were, “Highly Commended” in this category! We would like to thank everybody who took the time to vote for us as it is greatly appreciated! We would like to congratulate the winners of each and every category & also everyone who was nominated! It was a brilliant evening & fantastic to have so much talent from the North West Wedding Industry all together in one room!

It’s that time of year again – The Wedding industry Awards are upon us!

There are many brilliant sections of the Wedding Industry Awards that are available to enter and vote in. So whether you have recently just had your Wedding, or are still busy planning away then why not see who has been nominated for awards? This is an absolutely brilliant way to view those who are at the top of their game within the industry. So, you could approach them to see if they could work with you!

Christmas & New Year Events

Now, we are aware that we don’t want to be those people who remind you of Christmas when you are busy packing your suitcase to the brim of suncream for your Summer holiday. So, this is why we have waited until the end of September, Autumn time to let you know. However, the Fall is upon us and the weather is starting to get slightly wetter and colder, and the nights are getting longer. But, get ready because we are about to do it… Christmas is on its way!

We are sorry for the reminder that many people don’t like hearing. Now, this isn’t due to people being Grinch-like but because Christmas can be a very busy and stressful time for many – including us! This is why we are reminding you of this wonderful time of the year as we want to cater for your event. we really don’t like having to turn down catering for you as we love providing a high quality service and don’t want people to miss out!

The Summer of 2014!

We hope you have all enjoyed the Summer of 2014! Unfortunately it’s almost over.

Here at Vanilla In Allseasons we have had a fantastic Summer! It’s been busy with meetings, events and lots of organisation and of course cooking!

We have catered for all kinds of events over the past few months. And the sun coming out also makes our work more fun for us, and for everybody involved!

So, if you have been following us across our social media and the information on our website then you will have a good idea of what we have been doing.

We would like to take this opportunity to give a big thank you to all of our brilliant staff, clients and associates for all of your support during this busy time. We have had a wonderful couple of months!
