Atmospheric Autumn Weddings Part I

The first day of Autumn has passed and we’re already in October, we can’t believe it. Not to worry Autumn is still a fantastic time to get married, and here’s why.

Due to the weather at this time of year we can’t always predict the weather however, the fallen leaves on the ground and early sunsets make for a beautiful setting to get married. The gold and brown tones of the leaves are a great basis to begin working your colour palette around. Ranging through warm tones of orange, green, brown, mustard yellow and salmon pink there are many looks to choose from. As long as you check the weather you can still have an outdoor Wedding in the Autumn time, you could even offer your guests blankets to keep them toasty if the temperature drops.

Leaves, trees and the outdoors are fantastic ways to work the Autumn theme into your Wedding. Wedding invitations adorned with leaves are a great choice, you could even get creative and make them yourself with fallen leaves from around your home or taken from the place where you are going to Wed. Pine cones, oranges and small logs can work as Wedding decorations and become part of centre pieces also. Using the natural objects available to you is a great idea to make your Wedding feel rustic and cosy.

Traditional toffee apples are a fun and cute idea for sweet treats at your Wedding. Apples can even be lovingly made into candles and worked into centre pieces. We love these cute apple candles.

Fun with Function Central

Our friends over at Function Central recently featured us in one of their blogs about Terri & Tom’s Wedding, which we catered. It was a wonderful event, we were thrilled to receive this lovely message from the couple,

“Vanilla in All Seasons – Adam and his team were helpful and efficient. All the guests were raving about the food and how professional the staff were. We had a lot of vegetarians in the family and they made a completely new dish for us, which was delicious!”
