A Feast Fit for a Balbier Bride!

This week, we had some exciting guests visiting our tasting room here at Vanilla in Allseasons HQ!
Dynamic mother and daughter duo and darlings of the wedding dress industry, Charlotte Balbier and Amanda Wyatt.

They visited us to sample a selection of potential meals to be served at Charlotte’s impending nuptials to Mr Edward “Teddy” Bedford.

This one looks set to be a seriously fabulous affair! So, what do you serve to the queens of the wedding industry? No pressure!
We were given a free reign to show them what we could do, it was rather like the Master Chef kitchens here at HQ, with our chefs battling out to impress our guests.

We served up a selection of delicious soups…
Jerusalem Artichoke wit truffle oil
Roast root vegetable with carrot crisps
Pumpkin and Parmesan
Pea and Scallop soup

We also served fillet of beef cooked two ways…
Fillet of Cheshire Beef wrapped in Air dried Ham, and braised short rib with Potato fondant sticks, Celeriac and Carrot puree, Merlot jus
and
Duo of beef, Fillet of Cheshire beef with a shin and shallot pie, baby vegetables squash puree and Merlot jus

We topped it off with a box of sweet and delicate macarons from Mum’s Macarons. We hear on the grapevine that caramel chocolate was Charlotte’s favourite.

So, what will they choose for the big day? You’ll have to wait and see!

Thankyou!

Recently, we catered for the wonderful wedding of Ed and Mtendere at the stunning Capesthorne Hall.

thankyou

We received this lovely thankyou note…

“May I pass on our heartfelt thanks to you and all of your staff for making last weekend’s wedding such an outstanding success! Every aspect, from the dining room, the wedding breakfast, the evening bar and food was faultless. Ed and Mt had a wonderful day, enjoying themselves to the full. You and your organisation played a very major part in that success. We had countless compliments about the food (both carnivores and vegetarians!) which I would like to add my own – all very succulent and tasty fare!

Your management of the wedding breakfast and evening was equally superb.

Again many thanks for making it such a memorable day.

Many regards
Chris”

Thank you Chris for the fantastic feedback!

Shades of Gold

This weekend we catered for a fantastic wedding at the very beautiful country venue, Heaton House Farm. We certainly seemed to have the Midas touch. One colour kept popping up throughout the day – glorious gold!

Heaton House Farm looked stunning surrounded by a blanket of rich seasonal colours and inside, the venue looked spectacular! From the stylish gold charger plates to the gold trimmed glasses provided by our friends at Whitehouse Crockery, the tables looked the epitome of Autumn style.

Wedding Food Ideas – BBQ for Breakfast?

No, not that kind of breakfast of course – your wedding breakfast! In recent years we have seen a huge rise in popularity for this kind of event food.

A BBQ meal has several benefits, it can be as casual or formal as you wish, self service or served to your table on a slate. We offer a wide range of BBQ food, which can be adapted to suit your taste, style and requirements. Whether you want more rustic options or something a little more refined, we can create a menu to perfectly compliment your event.

A BBQ also means variety and choice for your guests, offering everyone a wide selection of different foods to enjoy. This weekend we catered for a wedding where we offered a choice of nine salads alongside the meat and fish dishes! Your guests can eat as much or a little as they like. Meaning those with larger or smaller appetites can graze until they are satisfied.
